The Fashion Design department organized an educational field trip for the department`s students to Saadiyat Beach Club, where they took practical session as a part of Fashion Styling and Merchandising course learning outcome.

The main goal of this training session is to teach the students how to effectively guide models and show students how to emphasize their designs and take photos that can be represented in a magazine or used as an advertising tool.

At the end of the trip, the students understood the principles of a Fashion Editorial working environment, the techniques of photo shooting (lighting and models poses), as well to chose the suitable make-up and hair for their designs.
